Darren Cooper
CEO
Darren is an entrepreneur who has established and grown a number of businesses over the last 15 years. Darren founded LAS in 2006, led a private equity-backed management buy-out as CEO in 2010 and after establishing LAS as the market leader in its field, successfully sold the business in 2014.
Neil Munn
Finance director
Neil is an experienced commercial finance director and is well used to working in high-growth, entrepreneurial businesses. Neil joined Darren’s MBO team in 2010 as LAS’ Chief Financial Officer and was instrumental in helping Darren grow LAS and prepare the business for its eventual sale.
Doug McKinnon
Chairman
Doug runs a successful telecoms company and also specialises in early stage funding of new businesses. He uses his extensive experience in the insurance industry to help the business establish and grow. Doug was a non-executive Director at LAS.
Ritchie Marshall
Managing director
Ritchie started his career at Commercial Union and has over 25 years’ experience working in the insurance claims management sector. Formerly Client Operations Director at LAS, Ritchie has experience in claims, loss adjusting and client management. Ritchie is responsible for performance and directing our strategy towards the profitable growth and operation of the business.
Shellie woodward
Head of audit & compliance
After graduating with a degree in business Shellie started her career at Sergon BRM and has over 15 years’ experience working in the insurance claims sector. Shellie has experience in claims, client management, business analysis and compliance. Shellie is responsible for compliance, audit and consulting activities to improve business operations and enhance the customer experience.
wendy harfield
Head of customer operations
Wendy started her career at Lloyds Banking Group and has over 25 years experience working in the banking and insurance claims management sector. Wendy has experience in claims as an insurer, supplier and in client management. Wendy is responsible for customer service delivery and day to day operations in our Halesowen office.
